Well, I could start by telling you that growing up in rural Massachusetts, it didn't take long for life to begin feeling a bit cramped.

I know, I know, it's a clichè to start with the small-town-girl trope (queue 90% of NYC and LA transplants), so instead I'll start with this: by the time I was 27, I hadn't taken an official vacation during my adult life. Sacrificing my twenties to a career seemed like the correct trajectory: everyone else I knew was doing it.

By the following year, I booked a one-way ticket to Korea with no true intention of returning home. 

​

Life can change in an instant, and I believe that self-exploration is catalyzed by a change in scenery.  My goal is to inspire, uplift and encourage others to experience their authentic selves. Regardless of whether the road is more or less traveled, the key is to just get on it.
